After the dust settled and was swept from the tavern floor, the circle still glowed bright. It was the first win Aranhod had seen since before the fall of Duke Duralba. Spirits were high and a tentative hope began to spread. The living had been sorely in need of heroes, and it appeared that they had finally arrived. All has been calm in the days that have past. The undead have been eerily non-existent in and around the town. Many of the residents have begun to believe that these brave strangers have scared off the undead, but a few feared the retaliation that would be inevitable, calling this the calm before the storm. They all hoped that these heroes would not abandon them, and that the tides were changing in their favor. Festivities have been planned to celebrate the break in the suffocating oppression and honor those who put their lives in danger to protect the town. Abigail, who had been so vocal about avoiding making waves up until now, had even grudgingly agreed to allow the celebration to be held in the Silver Star. docs.google.com/forms/d/1CBzDGzB0myfLKu1zQgcZLdm-Qz6Zvbz7yECdPeUjwqY/viewform?usp=send_form
