Player Introduction

Hi, I'm Larisa Koehler.

• I've been roleplaying since jr. high and LARPing for about the last 15 years.
• I started with Vampire and moved to NERO and Heroic.
• I did theatre in high school and college some.
• In real life I'm a Project Coordinator for a local system of health care clinics.
  

My favorite parts of LARPing are:

• dressing up
• being with friends
• getting to be outside sometimes 
• helping others
• being a part of a fun and interesting story

I also like :

• reading books (mostly non-fiction these days)
• playing computer and video games (Always like The Sims, but also enjoying Diablo III and Fable III right now)
• helping at church
  
• getting ready for the arrival of Andy's an my first little one this summer!

I'm Alex Hoggard. I play Sleye deathripper, the Black fox trickster. (hehe that rhymed...)

I've role played on online chats sense they first started becoming popular and got into role playing in D&D 3.5 about 10 years ago. Soon after I fould out about larping when Nero was still good and played one game and got distracted with D&D and money constraints.
I joined the marines in 09' and got out in 13' and am now in college. I met Ellie at college and she introduced me to heroic. I'm also a DM and my campaign at the time had only 2 regular players at the time so I figured I'd give this another shot and now I love it.
This jumpstarted my love for leatherworking because I wanted to make my own armor for my character. So now I'm here.

Why I love LARPing?
- get a breat from the stresses of life and get to live a midevil magical character that I could only imagine in D&D.
- I get to meet new people and also network to farther reaches than I could with just community college.
- I can get new ideas for leatherworking and possibly create some pieces that would be used in game which would be awesome to see!

My likes?
- leatherworking
- video games (minecraft and guild wars 2 are big to me right now)
- my job as a personal care assistant (pca) for my brother (in arms) and friend dave
- voluteering and the hospice house in KC with my grandpa
- helping people out with random stuffs

Hey, my name is Katherine Werner. I have been larping for roughly 5 years now and playing Heroic since the beginning. I play a variety of characters and I staff as plot up in Nebraska.

My favorite parts of larping are:
-Friends (some of the people closest to me I met through larping)
-Getting to run around in the woods
-Becoming a character

Hi, My name's Eleanor, (AA: "Hi, Eleanor") I started out with cosplaying, I've done this for about 8 years now; I have cut back from cosplay and more into the convention running field, running panels and staff-stuff. I'm currently a student in community college, which I plan to move next fall to a University.
My main character for Heroic is Berry (Bernadette) And my side is Chef (of Lord Abe's Crew). I like long walks on virtual beaches fighting pirates on Guild Wars 2. Before LARPing I RP'd quite a bit from chatrooms; switching almost entirely over to MMO's. My first Heroic experience was in 2010 at Jim's Property #1, didn't come back because of my middle brother. Um, Craig wanted to see if I wanted to go to an event again last summer, said I could roll with Abe's Crew. (I did not like LARPing alone after the first). So I asked my new friend at the time, Aidan if she wanted to go with me, so I'd have a friend. It's not fun to be new alone. And, we had fun, so now this is apart of what I do. And I liked it, so I decided to drag a bunch of other great friends along. Uhhh, I'm going for an animation, film and business career. So, hopefully that'll be swell.

Some...things I do and like that are LARP related?:
- I'm on plot and helping Craig with the rule book for the H2 ruleset.
- I've known about Heroic and rules and stories a most of my life, rooting from Nero too. It seems like a family thing to go LARPing now.
- It's far less stressful than Cosplay, and I can be original with my characters.
- This allows me to express my creativity in different fields without breaking copyright agreements.
- My boyfriend and bestfriend go out and play with me, and I couldn't ask for much more.
- Hitting people with ductape weapons.

I'm Matt Effing Boucher.

I'm a jaded cynical player who doesn't much care for most aspects of larping.
I just use Heroic as a way to escape from the real world and pretend that I'm not so terrible at life.
A few years ago lots of people talked about how awesome it would be to have a post apocalyptic larp so I created one.

My name is Kalise and I have Sylas to thank for getting me into larping. He would never stop talking about how awesome it was, and the more his friends came around and they all talked about it, I wanted to try it. I have made so many friends already just with one summer of LARP!!

I enjoy:
* seeing all the little details and ideas that are put into the events by plot and NPC's.
* exploring my character and learning everything I can do with her.
* most of all, i love seeing how much work everyone puts into their characters and how creative everyone can truly be.
