Can I bring my own gun?: Yes of course please do! Just make sure it follows the proper safety guidelines.
What is the max FPS?: The maximum feet per second is 350. A member of staff will chrono each gun at check in. If your gun fails after three shots you will be asked to take it back to your vehicle or lock it up in NPC camp for the remainder of the event. A member of staff may at anytime during an event check your gun's fps.
Can I modify my gun?: You may paint or otherwise modify your gun for the setting of the game, however you may not do anything to the inner workings of it. Please make sure that the gun keeps the orange tip on the barrel for safety reasons.
Guns are expensive, I'll just stay home: Don't do that! NPC camp will have a few spare firearms rent out for the event. A small fee of $5 is appreciated so that we may continue to expand our own arsenal. You are also by no means required to have an airsoft gun, the rules are set up in a way that you can still succeed in game without being a gunslinger.
Can I play my character from other Heroic games?: No you cannot. Pleasant Hills is a post apocalyptic game set in the future of the United States. We do not follow the transfer-ability rules set forth by Heroic Core Rules.
So what's the point?: When you come to an event to PC or NPC you will gain event days for a Heroic character of your choice. In the meantime your Pleasant Hills character will also gain experience. WIN WIN!
What races are available?: Currently the only playable race is human. As the game progresses new races may be made available for PC character creation.
